Welcome to The Wiggle Bums. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully to ensure a safe and positive experience for both your dog and our groomer.

1. Appointments & Cancellations

· 50% deposit is due at point of booking; this is non-refundable in any circumstance. 

· Deposits can be moved to another date if more than 36 hours’ notice is given.

· If you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, full payment for the appointment is required 

· No-shows may require full payment before future bookings are accepted.

2. Health & Vaccinations

· All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies (where legally required).

· Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, or behavioural concerns before your appointment.

· We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog appears unwell, injured, or unsafe to groom.

3. Behaviour & Safety

· Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities.

· If a dog becomes aggressive or overly stressed, we may stop the grooming session for their welfare.

· A special handling fee may apply for dogs who require extra time, restraint (gentle and humane), or behavioural management.

· Owners are legally responsible for any injuries caused by their dog to the groomer or property.

4. Coat Condition & De-Matting

· Severe matting is painful and dangerous.

· If your dog is matted, we will always prioritize their wellbeing and may recommend a shorter clip (a “shave down”) to remove mats safely.

· De-matting fees may apply for light or moderate cases.

· The Wiggle Bums is not responsible for any temporary irritation, patchiness, or skin sensitivity caused by mat removal.

5. Parasites (Fleas/Ticks)

· If fleas or ticks are found during grooming, a parasite surcharge may apply for treatment and salon cleaning.

· Severely infested dogs may be refused service.

6. Senior Dogs & Dogs with Health Conditions

· Grooming elderly dogs or those with medical issues is done at the owner’s risk.

· We will take every precaution to keep them comfortable, but grooming can be stressful and may aggravate underlying conditions.

7. Puppies

· We are happy to groom puppies, but all first-time puppy appointments are completed at the dog’s pace.

· We may not be able to complete a full groom if the puppy is too stressed, frightened, or fidgety.

8. Grooming Results

· Every dog is unique. Coat type, condition, behaviour, and age will influence the final groom.

· We will do our best to achieve your requested style, but results may vary depending on your dog’s coat health and temperament.

9. Accidents & Emergency Care

· While we take exceptional care with every dog, minor nicks, clips, or irritations can occasionally occur, especially with matted or sensitive skin.

· In the event of a serious emergency, we will seek veterinary care for your dog.

· Owners are responsible for any veterinary costs unless caused by proven negligence.

10. Photography & Social Media

· With your permission, your dog’s photo may be used on The Wiggle Bums’ social media or website for promotional purposes.

· You may opt out at any time.

11. Payment. 

· Payment is due at the time of appointment.

· Prices may vary based on size, coat, temperament, or additional time required.

12. Owner Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

· Provide accurate information about your dog

· Disclose any behavioural or medical concerns

· Collect your dog promptly once grooming is complete

· Accept any fees related to additional time, coat condition, or safety concerns

13. Consent

By booking an appointment with The Wiggle Bums, you confirm that you:

· Are the legal owner or have permission from the owner

· Understand and accept these Terms & Conditions

· Give consent for your dog to be groomed and handled
